Massandra rare wine goes under the hammer [VIDEO]
28 November 2007. A rare collection of wine once belonging to Russian Tsar Nicolas II has gone under the hammer
at International auction house Bonhams.
The wine comes from the Massandra winery in Crimea which was built in 1897
primarily to produce high quality wine for the Tsar and his family.
The Romanov's spent summers at their Palace 'Lavadia' near Yalta. Now the auctioneers Bonhams sold a number of bottles from the collection which were once stored in specially built tunnels under the Crimean mountains.

Vodka Challenge 2007 - ChinaWhite Vodka Summit

conducted by
Drinks International magazine for global vodka brands.
It is the world's favourite drinks magazine for the trade,
with a well established, highly respected reputation for vodka coverage.
The results of the DI Vodka challenge 2007 were announced
at the Vodka Summit,
Chinawhite nightclub, London, on 23 January 2007. It's the only trade event that has been created to help
manufacturers make the most from the growing vodka market.

City Shooting Championships 2006
Gary Magan & Co was among the sponsors of the
City Shooting Championships that took place at Highclere Castle,
in September 2006. All guests had an opportunity to enjoy Obolon Non
Alcohol beer, which was sensationally good - perfect for an occasion
like this when everyone needed a long drink, but also had to drive home.
Winners of The 2006 City Shooting Championships were Eversheds with
a triumphant return after their victory in 2004. Eversheds beat 35 other
City teams from senior circles of the financial community within the
City, Canary Wharf and Mayfair / St James in a glorious day of competition
at
Highclere Castle. |
Volvo City Sailing Championships 2006
Gary Magan & Co was among the sponsors of
Volvo City Sailing Championships that took place on the Isle of
White, in August 2006. We are proud that all guests had an opportunity
to enjoy Obolon Lager and Obolon Premium beer during the event. Congratulations
to Barclays Capital, skippered by Andy Phelps, in winning The 2006 Volvo
City Sailing Championships. Barcap were the first ever winners of the
Championships in 2003, and so have reclaimed their trophy from UBS and
Deutsche Bank in 2004 and 2005 respectively. |
FC Obolon in City Mile End League Championships
2005
In seasonal games of Autumn and Winter 2005,
FC Obolon has twice became Champions of GLL/ELMS 7-A-SIDE League and
earned the League Winners Medals and League Winners Cups.
The events took place in London, The Mile End Stadium.
All guests and participiants of the Championships had an opportunity to enjoy
Obolon Lager and Obolon Premium beer, presented by Gary Magan & Co during the event.
THE ELMS are the experts at running 5/6/7 a-side football leagues in the City,
and organizing corporate football events.

Photocompetition SV Photo Challenge 2006
In March 2006, Gary Magan & Co has conducted a photo competition SV
Photo Challenge, or the Most original photo with Soyuz-Victan
product. The winners were announced on March 6 and the awards ceremony
took place in Samovar, a russian restaurant in Queensway. 1st place
winner, Edward Perepelitsa, was awarded with a Dinner for Two in Samovar
restaurant. 2nd place winner, Helen Anderson, was awarded with SV Birch
Buds vodka gift set. 3rd place winner Pavel Mazin, was awarded with
SV Honey Pepper vodka gift set. |
Tesco Brewing Awards Compettition Jan 2006
We are proud to announce that Obolon Magnat beer has reached
the final of the Tesco Brewing Awards 2006 in the Best Import
Category. Obolon have once again proved to be top of the hops when
it comes to brewing premium bottled beers, this time winning the prestigious
Tesco Competition. Tesco Brewing Awards is a competition that open to
all brewers and suppliers to the UK’s beer industry. It is conducted
by Morrice Partnership, a communications agency with international clients,
helping individuals to communicate in large organisations. |
