made excellent table wines. Massandra best known table wine is Alushta
dry red wine. |
ALUSHTA DRY RED Wine
It is the only dry wine type, produced by Massandra since 1937. Made
of Cabernet Sauvignon, Saperavi, and Morastel grape varieties that grow
near resort city of Alushta.
The wine is a ruby colour with a dark garnet tint. The bouquet is bright,
well balanced with a flavor of violet The palate of the wine is full,
elegantly tannin, slightly fresh with Morocco leather overtones.
Alcohol: 10% - 13%, Residual sugar: 3g/l |

Note: In accordance with the EC rules there are limitations on the sale of wines which are named after certain geographical regions (Sherry, Port, Madeira, and Tokay). The names of these brands made by Massandra will be changed by mutual agreement.
