Andriy Shevchenko Became the Face of TM Obolon

| During the press-conference in January 2006, Obolon officially announced the beginning
of cooperation with the world football star Andriy Shevchenko. Parties have
signed a contract for two years. According to the contract Andriy Shevchenko will become the face of Obolon
trademark and will participate in company's advertising campaigns. First
shots of the new advertisement with participation of the famous forward
have been already filmed. |
| During the press-conference President of Obolon Olexander Slobodian noted
that signing of this contract continues old football traditions of the company.
Obolon cherishes young football stars in a youth sports school Zmina-Obolon
and has its own football team that plays in national championship. The company
has recently become the main sponsor of the national and youth football
teams. Also Obolon has recently finished a wide interactive advertising
campaigne Ole, Obolon! As Olexander Slobodian said, "for us the beginning
of cooperation with Andriy Shevchenko is actual and natura"', especially
taking into account the "size" importance of such brands as Obolon and Andriy
Shevchenko. |
| The forward of Ukrainian national team and of Italian Milan Andriy Shevchenko said that he
is trying to be useful for his country, and his desire of cooperation with
a key national company speaks to it. For Shevchenko Obolon is not only a
Ukrainian symbol, not only beer that can be found in many countries of the
world, including Italy. It is first of all his memories of childhood and
of the beginning of his sports career. |
