| The Odessa Sparkling Wine Company is an enterprise
which incorporated the best traditions of sparkling winemaking and has
concentrated at a factory the advanced equipment. The enterprise has
been based in 1896 by Southern - Russian Society of wine makers under
the name «Henry Roederer's Champagne factory» in Odessa. Roederer's
is the founder of the famous house of champagne in France. The solar
Sparkling lane in Odessa has received the name due to the champagne
factory that has settled down in the French parkway. It is the real
historical version of the name! The arch which you see on labels of
champagne ÒÌ «Odessa» — is a construction which exists since 1893 and
is architectural value of Odessa. Now it can be seen at the entrance
of a factory. |
| The qualitative and flavoring characteristics of
factory's production are beyond doubts. First, initially all raw material
are carefully analyzed by experts of a factory. Second, after final
preparation of champagne, each grade of wine is tested by special tasters
commission consisting of 11 most experienced experts. It's not simple
to become a member of this commission. Even the professional technologist
accepts in it participation only as the observer without a vote within
one year . In 2004 for optimum maintenance of the enterprise is planned
transition to gas that will cause annual economy of means (before black
oil was traditionally used). The factory already began preparation for
repair and partial replacement of a line of flood with the purpose of
increase in capacity at 15 %. At present the periodic way of champanisation
is used, we plan to change to a continuous way. From 2004 year the first
laying of champagne by a classical method in bottles for creation of
elite series will be carried out. Champagne will be stored in bottles
within three years. And only after this term it will be used. |
